Our Story

Fortaleza was created from a simple belief: Where a person begins should never determine where they are capable of going.

Too often, people have the ability to grow but lack the support, guidance, opportunities, or resources needed to see what is possible. Sometimes they need a safe place to heal. Sometimes they need someone to help them navigate life's challenges. Sometimes they simply need someone who believes in them, shares knowledge, or opens a door they never knew existed. That belief became the foundation of Fortaleza.

We created Fortaleza to be more than a counseling practice. We envisioned a place where individuals, families, schools, and communities could find support that strengthens not only mental health, but also relationships, education, career development, leadership, and personal growth. Because when people are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunity to thrive, the impact extends far beyond one person—it reaches families, classrooms, workplaces, and future generations.

Fortaleza exists to help people build strong foundations, recognize their own potential, and move forward with confidence. Our hope is that every person who walks alongside us leaves feeling more capable, more connected, and better equipped to create the future they envision for themselves and those they love.
